| David Orr - Employment - 21/8/2008

I have been asked a few times, what the current state of play is in the recruitment marketplace with the credit crunch in full swing and with companies cutting back. We are seeing a slight downturn in Finance and Accountancy positions certainly in London, but the Sales marketplace has gone absolutely crazy with clients fighting for key candidates. Anyone with Telesales, Account Management or Field Sales experience are still in high demand. So in short if you are an accountant, try and learn how to sell. !!!

| nicola gibbs - It's official!!! - 13/7/2008
|
Hi bloggers. Getting into this blogging lark now, and enjoying Liam's horsey website. I am now officially a weirdo!!!! The weird thing is that I am proud of that! After years of devastation, and desperately wanting to be NORMAL- whatever that is- I am now pleased not to be a clone, and really pleased to finally not be scared of it. It used to really freak me out when I saw a spirit at 1am whilst sitting on the loo! The good news is that I now am getting a grasp of SEO to describe my artwork, as I have been inundated with fellow weirdo's in the shop, and have got some good ...

| James Thompson - Isle of Wight Schools - 8/2/2008
|
Hi All, As an Isle of Wight Parent i have a deep interest in saving our schools and although this is not business, the more support that can be gathered the better the stand will be. This action by local councils and government to close schools is not just here on the Isle of Wight, but other councils have put plans on hold to rethink and remodel without the need for school closures. If anyone would like to know more or lend support please go to http://www.sosiow.com/home/. Regards James www.wightknightservices.co.uk

| Paul Judge - January Sunshine in Bonchurch - 22/1/2008
|
Greetings from the Isle of Wight. I am new to Blogs and hope this is a good start. We are up to our armpits in muck and dust creating a new suite and further enhancements to our country home which doubles as a "hotel" throughout the year. I say "hotel" we keep all the expected comforts and attention to detail but prefer to make people feel like friends coming to visit. I hope someone gets in touch and I will then have the confidence to keep the news rolling in. Lets hope the rain eases over on the main land today is like a spring day over here. Best wishes

| Christine Hughes - Talking Belt Syndrome - 29/8/2007
|
| Had I known how much time and effort I have to devote to Belts would I ever have started my business. That’s a very good question. If you ask my husband who at the time was my boyfriend; his opinion is probably not printable, but then he did go through with the marriage so it can’t be all that bad. It does get slightly annoying that every room in the house has belts in it one way or another. I even managed to leave one in his underpant drawer the other day, easily done as we share the drawers and my belt drawer is next door to his underpant drawer so it was a simple mistake. He was no...
